Description
The new GVM-3 seismograph is our most powerful vibration monitor. Whilst still being easy to operate the GVM-3 offers many features such as real time data display on PC, remote download, email alerts, red and amber beacon levels, wi-fi and USB connectivity and automatic pdf reporting. Having up to seven channels means two 3-Axis geophone sensors and air over pressure can be measured simultaneously.
The GVM-3 has quick and easy set up features. Events can be downloaded remotely to a PC and e-mail alerts can be sent when the pre-programmed levels are exceeded. Different e-mail addresses can be alerted for different alert levels.
Accudata has many years of experience in the field of vibration measurement and we are certain the GVM-3 vibration monitor will be a huge asset to any company that measures ground borne vibration.
As you can record in Bargraph mode, Wavefrom mode or a combination of both the GVM-3 vibration meter is perfect for use in quarries with blasting activity, construction projects, piling, civil engineering, hydro electricity, server rooms and the MOD.
Immediately after manufacture, Accudata seismographs are sent for calibration at the European laboratory that holds ILAC accreditation to the ISO/IEC 17025 Norm. It is the first company in the world and so far the only one to have earned the highest level of accreditation for seismographs’ velocity transducer calibration.
A blast monitoring seismograph for use in the UK must be able to measure Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) in mm/s from 4Hz up to 100Hz. The frequency response should be as linear as possible in each of the three axes. The air over-pressure microphone must also be able to accurately measure unweighted levels from 100dBLinear peak to 148dBLinear peak with frequencies from 2Hz to 250Hz.
The laboratory responsible for all Accudata’s seismographs first calibrations also calibrates other manufacturer’s makes and models. One manufacturers range of seismographs, widely used in the UK, is so inaccurate that it is not fit for purpose. The Accudata GVM-3 has a rugged construction and is manufactured to very high quality standards in both build and in terms of accuracy. It is also very easy to use and the price is surprisingly competitive when compared to other seismographs available in the UK.
The GVM-3 is supplied with all the accessories needed and we can also have the option of supplying in an exceptionally rugged case for extreme environmental conditions.
Please see the information below for the full specification for the GVM-3. We also have a User Guide and Information sheet which may be downloaded.
