Introducing the Hilti PS1000, a state-of-the-art Ground Penetrating Radar, engineered to delve up to 300mm into concrete structures. It accurately identifies potential strikes and the location of objects such as steel reinforcements, ducts, tendons, and conduits. For optimal performance, dry concrete is recommended.

The PS1000 excels in detecting both ferrous and non-ferrous materials, including plastic, fibreglass, and wood. Much like the Hilti Ferroscan, it operates best on a square grid scanning pattern, horizontally and vertically across a predetermined grid – a method known as ‘Imagescan’. It boasts larger grid capabilities than the 600 x 600 mm Ferroscan. Furthermore, its software includes a ‘Quickscan’ and ‘Quickscan recording’ mode.

The PS1000 comes with a screen that displays scan direction prompts during ‘Imagescan’ mode and scan data during ‘Quickscan Recording’ mode. Data files can be transferred to the PSA100/PSA200 using a cable, and it comes with a 4GB memory card. For larger areas, using an external storage device is advisable due to the size of scan files.
